The Odessa varsity boys basketball team is headed to the state tournament after winning second place at the District 7 tournament in Deer Park last weekend (see full story on page 5). LACEY – This summer, more than 300 teenagers throughout Washington will hit the road to pick up litter and protect the environment with the Ecology Youth Corps. Monday night’s meeting of the Odessa Town Council included a discussion of the recycling bins in town in which citizens are encouraged to deposit used cardboard, plastic bottles, aluminum cans and newspapers.
