    Significant challenges are on the horizon for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office in 2016 with the reduction of two road deputies due to budget cuts, says Sheriff Wade Magers. The Sheriff’s Office was busy in 2015 investigating and arresting suspects involved in property crime, felony cases and crimes against persons. In 2015, there were 5,417 calls for service throughout Lincoln County. Sheriff’s Deputies handled 4,663 of those calls, with the balance occurring within town jurisdictions.
