    The Titan track and field team headed to Cheney Saturday for the Big Red Invitational where they competed with 29 other teams ranging in size from 1B to 4A. Out of 24 teams, the boys placed 18th overall, with Wenatchee, East Valley and Mead taking the top three slots.     Adoption of a new math curriculum will be finalized this spring and will be implemented beginning next fall for children in kindergarten through eighth grade at P.C. Jantz Elementary School, said curriculum committee chair Bev Scherr.     Lincoln County Commissioner Mark Stedman submitted a proposal to the Odessa Town Council at their last meeting on April 11 that would increase the sales tax collected within Lincoln County by 3/10 of one percent. The rate, which is currently 7.7 percent, would rise to 8.0 percent. The taxes collected now go four different entities.
