DAVENPORT—The Lincoln County Commissioners approved the official bond and oath of office for Chandra Schumacher as county auditor. Schumacher has replaced Shelly Johnston, who was the auditor for 33 years before her resignation earlier this year and began her post Sept. 1. William Jay Warwick passed away, peacefully, Sept. 26th, 2021 in his home. Jay was born Sept. 8th, 1960 in Odessa, Wash. to Billie R. and Betty I. Warwick Jr. Jay spent his childhood in Bluestem, Wash. and attended Davenport until his senior year where he graduated from Shadle Park High School in 1978.
