The Odessa-Harrington junior-high football team beat Mary Walker, 57-20, in a game played last Thursday in Springdale. Jonny Hayashi scored on a kickoff return and 70-yard run. Laura Hardt, age 98, passed away September 21, 2015 in Spokane. She was born July 30, 1917 in Edwall. Laura farmed in the Odessa area with her husband Bill and they were married for 72 years. Ray Erwin Quilici, 84, went back to the open range on September 13, 2015. Ray was born to Gilbert and Maude (Maddox) Quilici on July 5, 1931, in Dillon, Mont. Ray attended school in Twin Bridges for a few years, then went to work at a very young age, working cattle, which is what he would end up doing for most of his life. The big news from the Veterans of Foreign Wars is that the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars is now no longer restricted to ladies. As of August 21, 2015, the auxiliary can also accept men. The organization is now called the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
