P.C. Jantz Elementary School will again be hosting an Unwrap the Gift of Reading event for students in pre-K through fifth grade. Students and parents are invited to enjoy a story time, snacks and caroling. New and popular projects and activities will be offered in the game and craft centers. The Odessa Lions Club's 74th annual Turkey Carnival is Saturday, November 21, at the Odessa Community Center. The action kicks off at 2 p.m., with food being served. A reunion of Fred Bohnet, Sr.'s descendants was held Saturday, September 26, at the Wilson Creek School Commons. The reunion was hosted by Doris Bohnet Jasman and Kathy Bohnet. Nearly 100 attended. Some traveled from California and Nevada to attend. Cade Lawrence Weber has been named to the Dean’s List at the University of Washington for spring 2015 quarter. To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must have completed at least 12 graded credits and have a grade-point average of at least 3.50 (out of 4).
