Washington state's FBLA Leadership Conference in Spokane April 19-22 was attended by 35 students from Odessa High School. The 12th annual Friends of the Pool Walk-a-Thon was held April 30 and raised over $1,280 as of Tuesday. According to Suzie Deife, the organization's secretary, a total of 47 walkers collected pledges. The Lions Club Easter egg hunt was held last Saturday at Reiman Park, with plenty of children on hand to enjoy the hunt, followed by playtime on the playground (more interesting to some of the kids than searching for plastic eggs).
