    LINCOLN COUNTY—The total population of the United States grew by 22.7 million, or 7.4%, between 2010 and 2020, according to census data. However, that growth rate didn’t hold in Lincoln County. Census comparisons between 2010 and 2020 indicate the county had a slim amount of growth from 10,570 to 10,876. Some areas of the county grew a significant percentage compared to that 307 population growth number, while others had striking decreases.     DAVENPORT—High winds occasionally gusting over 60 miles per hour swirled through the Inland Northwest Monday before dying down throughout Tuesday, felling trees and causing power outages. Schumacher has replaced Shelly Johnston, who was the auditor for 33 years before her resignation earlier this year and began her post Sept. 1.
