DAVENPORT—High winds occasionally gusting over 60 miles per hour swirled through the Inland Northwest Monday before dying down throughout Tuesday, felling trees and causing power outages. The Odessa Tigers volleyball team has gotten stronger as the season has progressed. The team is helped by the return of Grace Nelson following ankle surgery. DAVENPORT—The Lincoln County Commissioners approved the official bond and oath of office for Chandra Schumacher as county auditor. Schumacher has replaced Shelly Johnston, who was the auditor for 33 years before her resignation earlier this year and began her post Sept. 1.
