DAVENPORT—The race between incumbent Matt Schneider of Davenport and challenger Don Staley of Deer Meadows for Fire District No. 5 Commissioner No. 2 is too close to call after three tallies. LINCOLN COUNTY--Three incumbents are trailing after the first election returns amongst the seven contested races in the Davenport, Reardan, Harrington, Edwall and Sprague areas. LINCOLN COUNTY—The 2021 general election season has arrived. Election Day is coming up Tuesday, Nov. 3. Ballots must be postmarked by 8 p.m. that day. Richard "Dick" C. Sawyer (81), longtime resident of Spokane Valley, Wash. passed away on Oct. 24, 2021, at Sacred Heart Hospital from complications of pneumonia.
