Paul J. Kuch passed away April 14, 2015 in Odessa. He was born December 7, 1943 in Odessa to Richard and Anna (Hemmerling) Kuch. He grew up in Odessa and attended school, graduating from Odessa High School, and also attended Whitworth College for a short time. Spring Fling made Odessa into a "hoppin' town" this past weekend, as the quilt show, garage/yard sales and horseshoe tournament drew visitors from near and far. The Odessa School Board has hired Dan Read as the new superintendent. He will begin his duties on July 1, 2015. Read is currently the superintendent of the Stevenson Carson School District in Skamania County. He will be moving to Odessa with his wife and nine-year-old son this summer.
