Halverson Mill on Lake Roosevelt north of Creston was destroyed by fire. All lumber and an auto truck was destroyed. The new city water tank on Bungalow Ridge was completed. REARDAN - Hundreds of community members and visitors filled Town Park, Spokane Street, Lake Street, the fire station and the space outside the Community Hall for the 120th Annual Mule Days held Saturday, June 1 which featured an hour-long parade.
