SUPERIOR COURT John F. Strohmaier, Judge Criminal Sentencings Timothy Albert Evenson, 31, pleaded guilty April 9 to third-degree escape in connection with his failure to report on Jan. 2 to begin serving four months in jail, part of his sentence for second-degree trafficking in stolen property that was handed down Nov. 27, 2018. As a result of a plea agreement with prosecutors, the charge was amended from bail-jumping. The year 2018 was a good one for Lincoln County! We saw a spike in various sources of revenue that resulted in a higher than expected cash balance at the end of the year. Most of the increases were from sales tax, investment interest and jail revenue.
