    The senior citizens of Odessa have been the focus of community service by the local high school chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America for the past two years. Last year the chapter was able to donate $9,000 toward the new roof on the Old Town Hall, which is used for senior meals and SAIL (Stay Active and Independent for Life) classes for seniors.     he Odessa Chamber of Commerce adopted its budget for 2019 at its monthly meeting at Any Occasion Banquet Hall on December 11. Much of the budget remained the same or very similar to what was adopted for 2018, with cutbacks to only a few items in order to balance the new budget.     Let's roll out the red carpet and start the ticker tape parade. The Odessa Tigers completed a perfect season, 14-0, after their win Saturday afternoon against Almira-Coulee-Hartline, 63 to 12.     On November 15, twelve FFA members were able to compete in State Potato Judging and State Tractor Driving. This event is held annually at CBTech in Moses Lake.     OLYMPIA – Earlier this month, a woman reportedly released two large coolers of live tilapia into Sammamish Lake, a popular location for water sports and hiking.     For over a decade, Steve Luiten and the Odessa Union Warehouse have graciously tested the engineering designs of Odessa High's ninth-grade Integrated Science class during their unit on forces and impulse.
