KELLER – Drivers planning to use the Keller Ferry to cross the Columbia River via State Route 21, from April 12 until the morning of April 16, will need to use alternate routes for their travels. The Keller Ferry vessel, Sanpoil, will be out of service for hull repairs starting at 6 a.m. Thursday, April 12. Last week's performance of the Wizard of Oz musical by Odessa students was a very successful event. Wednesday's performances, one during the school day and one in the evening, were well attended. The Odessa Athletics Hall of Fame committee has resumed meeting in Odessa this spring to select inductees for the 2018 third annual induction ceremony to be held at the Odessa High School alumni reunion on June 16. This year, the committee has selected nine individuals and four teams to be honored at the reunion and to have their names and brief bios added to the display case in the foyer of the Odessa High School gym. At the beginning of this school year, Michael Jeske, a member of the Odessa High School Class of 2000, experienced a relapse of the cancer (lymphoma) he was diagnosed with in 2011. At that time, he received an autologous stem cell transplant.
