Although many gave him credit for bringing when he first set up at the lake, very few had any faith in him as a rainmaker when he left. ODESSA — Last Wednesday was another celebration for the Odessa High School senior class, as the students rode various vehicles down First Avenue after visiting the medical campus and waving to the patients and residents. ODESSA — The Town Council is studying creation of a Park District as a means to cover swimming pool costs. The council met digitally Monday, April 27, to discuss the pool and other issues. The cost of maintaining the pool, paying for lifeguards and covering all the other costs related to the pool has reached the $70,000 annually, according to Town Clerk Denise Snead. ODESSA - Rick and Marilyn Smith and their extended family gathered last weekend for their annual day of branding, tagging and inoculating new calves.
