    OLYMPIA – The state is opening applications for special hunting permits beginning April 20. Hunters may submit special hunt permit applications for deer, elk, mountain goat, moose, bighorn sheep and fall turkey seasons through May 20, state Department of Fish and Wildlife officials said.
