    DAVENPORT—A dispute at the Municipal Airport between the city and Capital Rivers, Inc. regarding a consent agreement surrounding the lease of AirLift Northwest appears to have reached an end. City council approved a new consent agreement Wednesday evening, Nov. 9 that was sent to the city Wednesday morning by Capital Rivers CEO Greg Aguirre.     REARDAN–Town Council discussed the need to demolish the park pavilion at its meeting Thursday, Nov. 3. Councilmembers have solicited several bids to remove the 30-year-old structure from its concrete pad. Public works director Bob Winn reported the weathered structure’s roof is rotting.     DAVENPORT—The newspaper-proclaimed “county insurance saga” appears to have been settled. The Lincoln County Commissioners reached an agreement with Union 1254 and 1254C, which represents county roads and the courthouse, on a medical-only plan with PEB through open negotiations Tuesday, Nov. 8.     ODESSA– 82 years have passed since World War II began, and with each year, first-hand accounts of war stories are becoming a rarity as veterans who served in the war are now in their 90s.     REARDAN–A fire destroyed a home on Wood road 17 miles northeast of town during the windstorm that battered the region on Saturday, Nov. 5.
