DAVENPORT—The Lincoln County Commissioners approved two resolutions aimed at applying for a broadband construction project with the Public Works Board. The application would request federal funding on a non-matching basis for fiber broadband in Odessa, Harrington, Reardan and possibly the Hawk Creek area. Those resolutions were approved at the commissioner’s Sept. 20 meeting. Dixie Lee (Hardt) Moore died peacefully Sept. 3, 2021 in Spokane Wash., with her husband of 57 years James Moore at her side. LINCOLN COUNTY—It took 18 months since COVID-19 was first confirmed in the United States for Lincoln County to see its highest surge of the coronavirus to date, but August saw a spike of 180 new cases.
