Football The Tigers got another lop-sided win last Friday in Yakima against the Yakama Tribal team. Quarterback Camden Weber, out of action last week due to an injury, was partially back in action, along with Jett Nelson. Weber completed three of six pass attempts for 36 yards and also rushed for a touchdown. Their entry, “Summer Star Flower” brought home two prize ribbons, winning Best of Category, Machine Quilting, and third place in People’s Choice voting for Pieced and Appliquéd Combo Quilts, Professionally Quilted. A fire of unknown origin near the Lamona home of Rachel Walter came very close to destroying the family farmstead last Saturday afternoon. 15-2017 Larry Dick Schroeder was born May 18, 1941 in Ritzville to Alvena Stockman and Aaron Schroeder. Larry passed away October 2, 2017 in Odessa. He served 12 years in the Washington Air National Guard. Larry worked as an auto and machinery parts man from 1960 through 2004 when he retired. He lived in Odessa for the last 42 years.
