DAVENPORT--The Davenport football was named the No. 8 seed for the state playoffs and will take on the No. 9 Toledo Riverhawks of the Central 2B League in the first round of the tournament. SPOKANE-Siblings Kaysa and Kristof Panke, children of Rolf and Heather Panke, both made the college ranks for their prowess in golf. PASCO-The Davenport boys cross country team had enjoyed success all year behind a youthful core of runners led by sophomore Jaeger Jacobsen, and that success culminated in a top-10 finish at the state meet at Sun Willows Golf Course Saturday, Nov. 6. The Odessa Tigers volleyball team has gotten stronger as the season has progressed. The team is helped by the return of Grace Nelson following ankle surgery.
