    DAVENPORT - A brisk response by local and state crews prevented the Green Canyon Fire near State Highway 25 and Porcupine Bay Road from doing much damage Tuesday, July 25.     SPOKANE — A young Davenport man was killed after colliding with a semitruck while bicycling on State Highway 206 Thursday, July 20. 19-year-old Kenneth S. Brandenburg was pronounced deceased at the scene after crashing into a white 2019 Peterbilt truck driven by Jonathan M. Fron of Spokane Valley near North Newport Highway, State Highway 206 and North Market Street, according to a Washington State Patrol press release.
