Davenport took a trip and trounced normal NE2B power Colfax 40-14 in the first game of the season. DAVENPORT--The hometown Gorillas marched the ball up and down the field in Friday night's contest against the No. 9 ranked Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos, being stopped from scoring on just two drives. DAVENPORT – The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) is still searching for the rider of a motorcycle that rear-ended an SUV just east of here Sunday morning, Sept. 5. According to LCSO, the rider is suspected to be a white male with curly hair and a beard. He was wearing a gray shirt with white pants, and was last seen in the area of Main Street. The talks indicated the two sides may be close to an agreement for the first time in five years, but still have some gaps to bridge before the process is complete. LINCOLN COUNTY—It took 18 months since COVID-19 was first confirmed in the United States for Lincoln County to see its highest surge of the coronavirus to date, but August saw a spike of 180 new cases. Richard (Dick) Sitko passed away Aug. 25, 2021 at home in Davenport, Wash. He was born on June 13, 1936 in Fargo, N.D. to Alfred and Marion Sitko. His family moved to Washington State when he was a young child. Dick grew up, attended school and graduated from Washtucna.
