DAVENPORT—Reports of white-tailed deer dying from Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease, or EHD, are increasing in the Inland Northwest this year. The reported deaths, which are normally around 25 a year, have reached the hundreds within the Department of Fish and Wildlife. Montana Rose 'Tana" Hardung died July 30, 2021. She was born in Livingston, Montana to Adam and Rosa (Schiewe) Schorzman on April 3, 1927. She married Herbert H. Hardung on August 26, 1945, and they raised three children. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and both sons, James and Thomas.
