    SPRAGUE — Voters within city limits will be seeing an EMS levy for approval or denial on their ballots in this year’s general election. City clerk/treasurer Heather Krauter said the regular six-year levy is identical to that which was passed six years ago but is expiring at the end of 2023. Residents would be taxed 50 cents per $1,000 in assessed property valuation for six years, beginning in 2024. Ballots must be postmarked by 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7 to be considered a valid vote. The first returns will be announced by the Auditor’s Office shortly thereafter.
