The county’s Deer Meadows and Seven Bays FTTx project will receive up to $8,921,342 in Coronavirus Capital Program Funds in the 2021-23 state capital budget. The funding was approved by the state Broadband Office based on the Nov. 22 Broadband Infrastructure Grant Program. SPRAGUE – A nearby lake has been stocked in advance of opening day of lowland lake fishing season. According to the state Department of Fish and Wildlife, Fishtrap Lake was planted twice last month with trout from the Spokane Hatchery. The state planted 8,000 rainbow trout weighing less than a half-pound each on March 22. Two days later, Fishtrap receive 500 rainbow weighing an average of 3 pounds.
