According to sources in the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, several grain cars derailed behind the elevators near Fourth Street. Drivers can detour on Third and Fitness Streets. DAVENPORT—High winds occasionally gusting over 60 miles per hour swirled through the Inland Northwest Monday before dying down throughout Tuesday, felling trees and causing power outages. However, it appears the eastern Lincoln County area dodged severe damage from the storm. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18 to 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 19. ODESSA – At about midday on Tuesday, Nov. 2, a call went out to Odessa firefighters about a building on fire in the countryside. The first crews on the scene found the home formerly owned by the late Curtis Finck fully engulfed in flames.
