Romeo and Juliet Tuesday morning, March 27, the Seattle Shakespeare Company arrived at the Harrington school and gave three or four workshops including the topics of Elizabethan dance and style of clothing. The Easter Egg Hunt put on by the Odessa Lions Club at Reiman Park in Odessa was very well attended by the children of many current and former Odessa residents. The air horn that normally gives the kids the signal to run for the eggs was forgotten, so the decision was made to use Marlon Schafer's car horn. Last week's performance of the Wizard of Oz musical by Odessa students was a very successful event. Wednesday's performances, one during the school day and one in the evening, were well attended. The Odessa Athletics Hall of Fame committee has resumed meeting in Odessa this spring to select inductees for the 2018 third annual induction ceremony to be held at the Odessa High School alumni reunion on June 16. At the beginning of this school year, Michael Jeske, a member of the Odessa High School Class of 2000, experienced a relapse of the cancer (lymphoma) he was diagnosed with in 2011. At that time, he received an autologous stem cell transplant.
