CHENEY – Washington State Parks is hosting a First Day Hike at the Columbia Plateau Trail on Jan. 1. The hike is traditionally held on New Year’s Day, and participants don’t need a Discover Pass to join in. Rex Schultz, one of the guides leading the way, delved into what makes this trail so special.
