DAVENPORT – The official filing period for the fall elections will be held May 17 through May 21, 2021. All offices are subject to both primary and general elections. If more than two candidates file for a position, the primary election would narrow the field to the top two candidates, who would then appear on the general election ballot. DAVENPORT – Council’s regular April 28 meeting kicked off with a public hearing to revise the six-year street plan to include a solar illuminate crosswalk sign on Morgan Street that the city hopes to complete in 2021. Ryan Desmond Johnson, of Spokane, Wash., passed away at Sacred Heart Medical Center on Fri., April 9th, 2021 from heart failure. Ryan was born in Spokane to his mother Dionne Johnson and his grandmother Lonna Bussert on April 13th, 1984. Ryan grew up in Davenport, Wash. and resided in the Spokane area most of his adult life. DAVENPORT--Highway 28 has re-opened in both directions about three miles south of town at milepost 131 and at milepost 118 in Harrington after momentarily closing due to two semitrucks colliding and leaking hazmat chemicals, a press release from Washington State Patrol and a Facebook post by the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department said.
