    REARDAN — One person was killed and another injured Friday, Oct. 24, in a head-on crash involving an SUV and a garbage truck about four miles east of town. The driver of the car was killed; the Washington State Patrol has not yet released the driver's name, age or hometown. The truck driver, Porter T.     DAVENPORT — A man accused of two counts of first-degree rape saw his case dismissed Tuesday, Oct. 28, in Lincoln County Superior Court. William Zackary Carroll, 33, of Spokane, was released from custody the same day. The case was dismissed without prejudice on the state’s motion, which also terminated protection orders.
