William Zackary Carroll, 33, appeared in Lincoln County Superior Court Tuesday, Oct. 21, for a readiness hearing. His public defender, Dave Hearrean, requested a one-week continuance, citing slow lab processing, while the trial remains scheduled for Nov. 19.
