1 years ago A tourist headed for the gas pump in front of J. W. Fox’s store, missed the brake and hit the gas pedal and rammed into the pump smashing it considerably. The driver drove off and only Mr. Fox and the pump suffered. A number of Davenport people attended a bucking contest at the Wade West farm in the Rocklyn area. REARDAN – Twelve girls basketball teams took part in the 4th annual Reardan Slam Basketball Tournament at the high school June 13-15. The Screaming Eagles went 5-1 and defeated Garfield-Palouse 48-43 to win the championship.
