Opioid addiction across the United States, including rural America, is very prevalent and becoming more widespread with its affects hitting closer and closer to home. In response to the opioid crisis and its effects, Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center is modifying its practice to stay consistent with current industry prescriptive practice. The Odessa Tigers defeated Colton High School May 8 in the District tournament played at Northwest Christian in Colbert, then moved on to the District championship game against Almira-Coulee-Hartline on May 12 at the same location. Spring Fling weekend brought quite a large crowd to town. It is finally spring in Odessa, and the world is beautiful. Let me introduce you to my neighbor Frank Clark. Frank was born April 29, 1947 in Everett. He grew up in Lake Stevens with his parents and five sisters. He graduated from Lake Stevens High School in 1965, and soon after graduation he joined the U.S. Marines. The Tigers played their frequent nemesis Almira/Coulee-Hartline Tuesday in Hartline, losing both games of the double header as ACH managed late inning hits to take a win in each of the two games.
