DAVENPORT—The hometown Gorilla cross country runners received some recognition from coaches statewide, earning 6th in the preseason Washington State Cross Country Coaches Poll for boys 1B/2B. KETTLE FALLS – Assistant high school football coach Fernando Montgomery died of COVID-19 Sunday, Sept. 19. He was 30 years old. Montgomery graduated from the high school here in 2009.
