ODESSA – Christmas Fest returns this year after its Covid-related hiatus in 2020, with between 25 and 30 returning vendors and several new suppliers of handcrafted items. The Odessa Tigers volleyball team has gotten stronger as the season has progressed. The team is helped by the return of Grace Nelson following ankle surgery. ODESSA – At about midday on Tuesday, Nov. 2, a call went out to Odessa firefighters about a building on fire in the countryside. The first crews on the scene found the home formerly owned by the late Curtis Finck fully engulfed in flames. More crews were called upon to assist, and it took between three and four hours to put out the fire, according to firefighter Landon Lobe.
