ODESSA – Rocky Coulee Brewing Company is holding a benefit to raise funds for rebuilding of the Almira school building completely destroyed by fire in October of 2021. Rocky Coulee has scheduled the event for Sunday, Jan. 30, at the brewery in Odessa as a 5 km poker run and pancake breakfast. The community is invited to participate in one or both parts of the event as they choose. WILBUR – The Odessa boys registered their third victory in a row by defeating Wilbur-Creston-Keller twice last week in the Jan. 19 game at Wilbur by a score of 65-59 and in the Jan. 22 game in Odessa by a score of 52-33. The Jan. 21 game scheduled in Odessa against ACH was cancelled due to positive Covid cases spiking on the ACH team. ODESSA – Schoonover Farms, LLC of Odessa is voluntarily recalling retail raw whole milk and cream after routine testing by the Washington State Department of Agriculture revealed the presence of toxin-producing E. coli in a raw cream sample on Dec. 23. ODESSA – The Odessa girls suffered their first loss this season to 2B school Reardan on Dec. 21. Fortunately for the Tigers it was a non-conference matchup. ODESSA – Jacob Scrupps returned to the varsity lineup Tuesday and gave a much-needed boost to the team. Playing in Reardan against the Indians, the team lost the game but made a much better showing than in the other games played thus far.
